Hosting and access logs

Our website and email services are provided by easyname GmbH, Canettistraße 5/10, 1100 Vienna, Austria, under a data processing agreement. The server processes your IP address to deliver and secure the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a reliable and secure website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The IP address is technically necessary to deliver the page.

According to easyname’s information for our hosting package dated 17 August 2026, access logs contain IP addresses, which are anonymised after 24 hours; the logs are deleted after three months. Storage and processing take place in Vienna. Authorised group.one staff may also access data from outside Austria.

Service providers and international processing

easyname uses infrastructure and support providers. Its July 2026 list identifies Nessus GmbH (Austria) for data-centre services and group companies in the EU for infrastructure and internal service systems. It also provides for One.com India Pvt. Ltd (India) to assist in exceptional third-level technical support cases, using the EU standard contractual clauses of 2021 under Article 46 GDPR.

Depending on the domain, security and certificate services used, the provider’s list also includes MaxMind, Inc. (USA; IP and risk analysis) and Sectigo (United Kingdom/USA; TLS certificates). For international processing, easyname identifies adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework certification. These are provider-listed possibilities, not a claim that every visitor’s data is sent to every listed company. Contacting us

When you contact us by email or telephone, we process your contact details and the information you provide to handle your enquiry. For potential or existing orders, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Otherwise it is our legitimate interest in responding to business correspondence under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Providing information is voluntary, but without the details needed to respond we may not be able to handle your enquiry. David and Silke Fenkhuber handle business correspondence; easyname provides the email infrastructure.

Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are deleted no later than twelve months after completion. Contract and accounting records are kept for the applicable statutory retention periods; records needed for specific legal claims may be retained until the matter is resolved.

Cookies, images and external links

This website uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Galleries and filters do not store preferences in cookies or browser storage. Images and scripts are served from our website; fonts use the fonts on your device. No Facebook content, external maps or videos are embedded. The Facebook link opens a separate website, whose operator is responsible for its own processing.

Your rights

Subject to the statutory conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Please contact us using the details above. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling in handling your enquiries.

You may lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority, in particular the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
